Custom orthotics are prescription insoles for your footwear that correct foot dysfunction and help relieve and prevent pain and strain in the feet, knees, hips, and spine by improving the alignment and function of those joints. Custom orthotic sandals and flip flops are footwear with a built-in orthotic footbed. There is also an option to fit a brand-name sandal (with removable footbed) with custom orthotics (insoles).
During your consultation at Urban Soles, we take your history, perform a biomechanical exam and gait assessment, and take a mold of your foot before recommending the best option for your lifestyle needs. We may also assess your footwear, perform a digital gait analysis, and take additional measurements.
