OPTIMAL HEALTH & WELLNESS STARTS WITH THE FEET AND PROPER FOOTWEAR
SUPPORT AND COMFORT FOR TORONTO PROFESSIONALS & MICROMOBILITY USERS
Appropriate footwear is of utmost importance in keeping your feet healthy and happy and helping to prevent lower body and spinal discomfort. Unsupportive, poorly fitting, or fatigued footwear, on the other hand, can lead to discomfort and pain, not just in your feet but also in the knees or the spine.
With the vast choice of available footwear styles and brands, it can be difficult to know what kind of footwear meets your particular needs. Shoe shopping can be especially challenging for people with certain foot conditions and foot types, or custom orthotics wearers.
At Urban Soles, we carry footwear that has been used in orthopedic and diabetic foot care around the world for more than 70 years to suit folks who appreciate footwear that is not just comfortable and decent-looking but also supportive, customizable, and durable. Most importantly, our patients and customers receive a professional shoe fitting with their footwear purchase to ensure proper fit.

COMFORTABLE & SUPPORTIVE SHOES FOR CANADIANS OF ALL SHAPES AND SIZES – pROFESSIONALLY FITTED AT URBAN SOLES
Professional Shoe Fitting
A large number of Canadians are wearing the wrong size shoes, which can lead to foot deformities such as bunions and hammertoes, corns and calluses, and even impact the way they walk. Canadians are even less aware of their foot shape, and almost a third of all shoes bought online are returned for bad fit.
A professional shoe fitting at Urban Soles takes the guesswork and frustration out of shoe shopping.
Professional shoe fittings are available from $185 (+HST) and include a pair of Apex or Anodyne footwear which will be selected in consultation with you and based on our best recommendation.
Orthopaedic / Diabetic Shoe Fitting & Shoe Modifications
At Urban Soles, we work with two of the three off-the-shelf/stock orthopaedic/diabetic shoe brands that are recognized by extended health benefit plans in Canada: Anodyne and Apex.
We offer off-the-shelf/stock orthopaedic and diabetic shoes as well as shoe modifications and can provide you with insurance documentation (if applicable).
Our stock orthopaedic/diabetic shoes range from $185-$270 and include a professional fitting by a chiropractor.
A Biomechanical Evaluation & Gait Analysis is available for an additional fee.
Custom Orthotic Sandals
We offer custom-milled orthotic sandals and flip flops by Footmaxx or Foot Levelers or modified Birkenstock sandals (limited availability).
